As a kid, Ryan found his love for dance after seeing the film Newsies, directed and choreographed by the great Kenny Ortega. Never could he have imagined, the first film he would work on would be for Kenny Ortega in High School Musical 2. Kenny Ortega would also later have a hand in hiring Ryan for the first of 3 world tours, and 3 films, with Miley Cyrus.
His versatile style has proceeded to land him work with top recording artists: Rhianna, Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and Mary J. Blige. He’s been featured in 75+ TV shows, commercials, and films. His credits include: Apple, Lululemon, The Voice, Glee, Fame, and the highly acclaimed La La Land.
Ryan resides in Los Angeles with his wife, and former Miley Cyrus tour-mate, Jeni Novak, along with their daughter Lola. They are co-owners of a production company, where they have been able to apply their acquired skills and vast knowledge of the entertainment industry to create for high profile clientele such as: Lululemon, Nike, Starbucks, Microsoft, and of course, LA Dance Magic.
